I am tired of the old Clinton and Bush bashing...people are very negative and unhappy on both sides, and I hope we move away from this someday.

Sure, T - but who..? The only unifier-type possible candidate I can think of might be Colin Powell, but even he wouldn't win hard-core conservatives or liberals - and he doesn't want any part of the electoral process anyway. So who..?

BTW, here's something I posted elsewhere (got zero response):

Republicans
Giuliani.....Moderate Libertarian Conservative
Huckabee.....Libertarian-Leaning Conservative
Hunter.......Hard-Core Conservative
Keyes........Libertarian-Leaning Conservative
McCain.......Populist-Leaning Conservative
Paul.........Moderate Libertarian
Romney.......Populist-Leaning Conservative
Tancredo.....Hard-Core Conservative
Thompson.....Hard-Core Conservative

Democrats
Biden........Populist-Leaning Liberal
Clinton......Hard-Core Liberal
Dodd.........Hard-Core Liberal
Edwards......Populist-Leaning Liberal
Gore.........Moderate Liberal Populist
Gravel.......Libertarian-Leaning Liberal
Kucinich.....Hard-Core Liberal
Obama........Hard-Core Liberal
Richardson...Moderate Liberal

Full disclosure: I lean toward Thompson (who doesn't look likely) or Romney. Mitt Romney + Kay Bailey Hutchison works for me.
