The Christian population of the entire ME has been falling since Mohammed's time due to Muslim persecution. Not a new thing. Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, North Africa were once Christian territories. Genocide, expulsion, and over the last century immigration to the west - these are bringing the ME Christian population toward the zero level. The only country whose Christian population is stable and growing is Israel. The only MSM interest in the Christians of the ME - is if it can be used to bash Bush's liberation of Iraq.
