Hi John,

Dell's forward p/e is so much more attractive today than is was for a long time. Last time it broke 24 was very early August. I would have thought after last week's post-earnings sell off that Dell was at/near lows, but with today's news of acer (acer+gateway+packard bell) over taking Dell in global laptop shipments, I think Dell needs to wean out some more sellers. I don't think Dell will trade near last March low of 21.61 though.

BUT....my prognostications for stock direction picking is one reason I rarely trade stocks, and keep my index options portfolio as delta neutral as possible !!

Good luck with the trade. I'll do my part in helping out....purchasing an XPS 1530 and Inspiron 1525 (soon to be released) shortly !

cheers,
gary

John,

Dell announced a resumption of their share buyback program, to the tune of $10b, according to cnbc.

Stock called up ~.65.

cheers,
