"What is your take on the article you posted from the NYTimes as regards Comer?" My 'take' is that Texas is gearing-up for a big public fight on the Evolution/Creationism front (the school textbook review --- laying down the next decade's purchasing standards and requirements, etc.) and the long knives are coming out now. This lady Comer (apparently for simply forwarding an email that mentioned an upcoming lecture by an evolution advocate...) seems to have been one of the early casualties.... (Time will tell how it plays out... like the battle in PA, or Indiana... or Kansas, etc.) Who knows?
