When did sexual promiscuity, drunkenness, family breaks ups etc become traditional taboos of most Americans?

Our moral standards have slipped over time, but even today, most people don't think sexual promiscuity, drunkenness, or family breakups are good things. They are generally considered bad things by most people.

The likely divorce rate for the average American couple is 50%.

Doesn't mean 50% think family breakups are a good thing.

How many people do you that have never been drunk once?

Getting drunk once and embracing a lifestyle of drunkenness are two different things.

How many people do you know who have had sex with only one person their entire lives as they approach 60 or 70 years old?

That doesn't mean most people think sexual promiscuity is a good thing.

You don't get that people who have moral failures in their lives don't become anti-morality because of that.
