Hello TJ
Ok. Now let us see, you were selling everything for USD and HKD but then decided to buy more gold, which you like to fondle late into the night.<g> Your latest post says you are increasing your gold holdings to 25%. GUEES as in Gold up everything else shaky.

The shaky part I agree with.

The Yen trade has been profitable, if, you are on the right side of the zig and zag but it is exhausting work.

The fiasco that is the Paulson plan, or Bush plan, or Hillary plan are all non-sense, doomed to make an already complicated mess more so.

The fact that BOE did an about face and cut rates and the fact the the Eur bank may follow suit next time, indicates to me that a Global crisis exists and your nervousness and flight to cash is justified. Meanwhile, world wide, stocks party on like all is great.

How this all plays out I don't know. Having a nice quiet place to retreat to sounds prudent though. 25% in gold, maybe ok too.

regards,

ray
