Good observation. Actually, the Republicans should be able to score points in the 2008 election arguing which of them would be best able to manage a Gestapo type security apparatus to deal with the America GWB is going to leave. I think Guliani would be the man to implement the necessary "security" measures to control the country. Interesting how far we have come under Republican leadership, and how many are determined to put another one of the pretenders in. (...and how little time we have left to come to our senses....)

I've been telling thinking informed Americans to RUN FOR THEIR VERY LIVES....GET OUT NOW for the last 4 years at least and it earned me over 100 ignores from neocons on SI; I wear them as a badge of honor, and to those who foolishly think that the demolitions of the 3 towers on 9/11 wasn't Americans modern day Reischstag burning I have some advice.....PLEASE STAY IN THE USA because the civilized world will be better without you coming to us....you will be the same people who will one day plead in court...."I was only following orders".
