Buddy

Because of the father and stepfather this becomes a little like the Brady Bunch trying to figure out his background.

His story is the kind that makes one ask how he made the journey to being a candidate for President of the United States.

Having educated parents and his place of birth played a major role in why he is now a candidate imo.

A few comments----------

"Contrary to the image he gave of Indonesia where he went to school in his formative years, Hawaii was full of opportunity for Obama-----Hawaii set the stage for his future.

His mother, father and stepfather were all students at the University of Hawaii. After his father left the family his mother remarried and took Obama to live in Indonesia---but not for long.

Obama would later be educated at the private Punahou school in Hawaii from age 10. By societal standards in Hawaii during the early 1970's and on the mainland of the USA at that time I consider him to have been "very priveleged"------having parents who went to the University of Hawaii and his going to the exclusive private Punahou school.

This was like putting a silver spoon in his mouth early in life. " mj
