If you don't believe me, just go back to Harris' original post. "Whether they "love" him or simply are sympathetic cause he hates Bush as much as they do." A truly absurd argument. Just because a comparison is made and Bush comes up short doesn't mean you necessarily sympathize or even approve of the one that comes out on top. For example, if I was being tortured, I 'd rather they knock some teeth out than put out an eye. Now personally, I'd rather not be tortured, much less lose body pieces, but... Regardless, it doesn't mean I am sympathetic to the idea of having some teeth knocked out.
