Get used to it... the government is the Walmart of health care.

Exactly, and the modus operandi of Walmart's suppliers is to cave. Either that or eek out a living in some niche on the periphery.

Walmart isn't a monopsony buyer.

And to the extent that it has any market power it has to continue to fight to maintain it.

Government's can just regulate.
