More on Rentech's change of plans,
siliconinvestor.com

---
In my opinion, if Rentech couldn't afford to spend $900 million to convert their East Dubuque fertilizer plant to coal, they'll never raise $500 million to build a greenfield 1,600 barrels a day CTL plant in Mississippi. 1,600 bpd is too small to be economic. Furthermore, when the price of natural gas rises through the roof, and it will, they will lose their shirt on the gas fired East Dubuque plant. I never invested in Rentech and I never encouraged anyone who asked my opinion to do so. Rentech has a history of grand talk and no action.
