When you put public money for public institutions into private hands (i.e. Wall St.) for "investment", they'll surely run it into the ground because it's probably in their agenda to run that instution into the ground and sell it off for cheap to their buddies (for private profit of course). The taxpayers get screwed. Read "The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein - revolutionary.
