Re: "dead on when it comes to the threats" Perhaps... or, at least able to identify the general direction from which threats emanate. (Just, apparently, not very good at crafting effective & efficient counter-strategies and policies... or actually identifying and disadvantaging the really important enemies, not getting suckered by the national actors who are the main problems, the heart of the threat.) In other-words: ineffective and counter-productive and actually damaging to America and her vital long-term strategic interests. In a word: incompetent and harmful. Poor tactician.
