The Magaziner / Hillary Task Force Draft failure was the seminal event in the Clinton Presidency, after that they went back to creeping socialism if they could spin it in the polls. The one piece of Hillary Care that did pass destroyed the vaccine industry in America.

But to me it doesn't seem much different from a doctor who is unwilling to go to jail to end my pain when I'm ready to go.

As for the health care hook, there's a resource factor involved in keeping people alive against their will.


I will grant you that. I tend to agree with you that assisted suicide can be a good thing for people. Forcing a person to suffer for the last couple of weeks or months of their life is no more considerate than denying a person life saving surgery. Actually making a person suffer for a couple months seems less unethical to me that robbing a person of years from their life due to socialized medicine.
