If they bought one of these 'teaser' deals... likely they have no business ever owning a home... in the overwhelming majority of cases.. IMVHO...

True but it would get it over with a lot sooner. Maybe a couple years vs five to a decade.

Immediately someone needs to make a list of all the factors that led to this and pass regulations that make sure it doesn't happen again. And the list shouldn't be just a couple of things.
