why do many more black marriages fail? First, in the case of both blacks and whites nowadays, there is often no marriage to begin with. Blaming a modern lifestyle on things that happened 4 or more generations before is nonsensical. Especially when one realizes that it wasn't always this way for either blacks or whites. At one time, most kids of both major races lived in complete families. Since hispanics came to this country as free men and have never been enslaved here, I take it you consider the level playing field is okay for them? No affirmative action, etc. Why are you in such denial over discrimination? First you failed to answer my question. Second I'm not in denial of discrimination. It exists. For example, I think a lot of people prefer to hire illegal hispanic immigrants over black people. Race is part of the reason. I also have known people (no longer in the workforce) who would have discriminated against minorities if they could have. They didn't because of the law and company policy. I'm glad those laws and policies exist. But nevertheless, it isn't the all powerful barrier you claim. This is a big country with a whole lot of open opportunity.
