Aerosappy - mostly an excellent article, but a few quibbles. "gas power plants that mostly sit idle" - these are peaking plants, they are both beneficial and economic. There will always be occasional, very high demand days that need supplemental power. Wind power is for real, and using coal or nat gas to balance the intermittancy is a good idea. They should complement each other rather than compete. Cy
