Les, So why is the NIE saying they have abandoned their plans for highly enriched uranium which is for bombs only. There is no reason to use 3000 centrifuges unless one wants HEU. The 300 centrifuges would give you the low enriched uranium suitable for a power plant. And you don't need the tons of uranium hexaflouride Iran has acquired or the P2 centrifuges. All very suspicious and contrary to the NIE conclusion. Iran now has breakout capacity according to the Arms Control Magazine. They don't even have to try and put the centrifuges in a serial configuration and replumb the whole operation. They can use a batch method and keep reprocessing each batch after each batch has been enriched 5% or so to reach the desired high enrichment. Oh well, it is Israel and Europes problem primarily. What will Israel do is the question? If anything?
