Current dividend is .84 current price 5.35 (Both in Canadian currency..) hence yield is 15.7%.

Tax consequence... foreign tax is withheld in your account but when you file your US taxes are basically given a tax credit.

As for US tax on the yield as I remember it was partially treated as ROC but mostly treated as qualified dividend income (ie 15% tax rate..)
