The Horse has been waiting at the glue factory for 6 months since it was closed by City Hall yanking its liquor license.

Then the Club was seized by the Federal Government in a truly bizarre case that includes everything from a raid by Fed agents jumping on stages with ski masks and long guns that appeared at first to be a robbery to somewhere around 17 guilty pleas by the owner and employees on mostly minor tax charges, 16 of them being handled by a Federal Judge whose brother was the lawyer for the 17th defendant's (the owner) alleged personal asset cash out and hiding scheme just before his plea was arranged.

Now the Government is trying to sell the place, and supposedly has a buyer lined up at approx 6 times the appraised value, which coincidentally is just a little more than enough to cover all local, federal and private liens placed on the property throughout the fiasco. All while the former owner serves his 366 day federal sentence due to end in April.

And that's not half the story.........
