JF, so when Hugo Chavez loses a referendum, he should be saluted

Frankly, I was shocked. First that he didn't fix it and second that he accepted it with "grace". Wern't you?

but when Bush loses a virtual referendum on his presidency in 2006, he should only be "saluted" with a middle finger.

You've got to understand how much people believe Bush has screwed up this country; you probably never will get that part. But I know you are not suggesting we hold ourselves to the standard of Venezuela. We do have a higher expectation for our democracy.

Hmmm. Chavez acted like an adult and accepted the referendum.

Bush rejected the referendum and kept us in Iraq. Not only that, he said FU to America and sent MORE troops to Iraq.
