JF, I don't trust Chavez when he says he accepted the results with "grace." That's about as genuine as his concern for the poor Americans in New England. He's likely coming up with new schemes to sell his brand of extreme socialism, all of which place him in charge for life.

Could be. He seems to model on Castro's Cuba (except with precious resources) so I didn't think a little thing like an election would stop him.

If anyone needs to be saluted, it should be the voters of Venezuela who rejected Chavez' power grab, not Chavez himself.

Depends. If he steps down when his term limit is up then you have to give him at least some grudging respect.
