I know many people think of Rudy as a Liberal, but I think he is far more complex then that. In some areas he does think more toward the Liberal line, in others I'd say he is about as Conservative as one could ask for. For instance in Fiscal matters, defense and anti terrorism I cant imagine anyone more conservative then Rudy. In some sexual oriented things like gays he seems to have a live and let live philosophy. That doesnt bother me. My biggest concern was gun control and he seems to have answered that. The bottom line is most of the areas where he may seem to have liberal tendencies are ruled by THE COURTS and he has promised to put up judges that follow the Constitution rather then try to rewrite it. Thats good enough for me. In summary, I guess I am saying, in the areas where the President has any significant control, he is CONSERVATIVE. jdn
