It's a waste of time to try to debunk fantasy scenarios. An abstraction is not a fantasy scenario. Abstractions illustrate principles. They are useful for analysis and understanding. An abstraction, a product of logic, is not the same as a prediction or supposition or some other fantasy, which are products of the imagination. I was not suggesting or predicting that all drug research will come from the government. If I had, I would expect you to either "debunk" it or consider it not worth the effort.
