Then perhaps you can come up with an example of how it's the sellers who control the price.

If you come up with a good one, maybe we can post it on E-Bay. Those sellers should find it interesting.

On eBay it's called the "Buy it now" price... and they also set the minimum bid price in auctions. Few auctions are absolute.

It's really simple. No commerce takes place until the seller agrees to a price. Do you have a house? I will buy it for $1. Yes or no.
