Because crazy people who are in power try to act sane when they are in public. Ah, you deduce his not acting sane proves he is in fact sane. Brilliant. And I suppose people who act sane can be presumed to be insane. This is nonsense. --------------------------------- Instead, Ahmadinejad is always trying to bait Bush and the US......making the most outrageous statements......all so he can get some attention. Yeah, he doesn't really mean any of that stuff. He's just acting. Like when he told a college audience there are no gays in Iran, its not because they actually kill them all off or anything. He's just talking crazy. ----------------------------------------- If we had a smarter president, he would have neutralized the sucker [without the use of military power]long ago. As it is, Ahmadinejad is in power thanks to Bush and his poor understanding of human psychology. If the recent NIE is correct, Bush neutralized Iran by overthrowing Saddam. ---------------------------------------- Why would he play with us? What is his motive iyo? You all called his country the axis of evil and then you turned around and made a mess of Iraq. He's doing in public what the rest of the world does in private....laughing at the US over its foibles. He knows our hands are pretty much tied. Do you really think the rest of the world is listening to Fox News and buying into their propaganda? Uh uh. Actually Bush called Iraq, Iran, and NK the axis of evil. Then he knocked off the first one of the three. Let's see, Iran fought Saddam for 8 years, a million people died in that war and there was no conclusion. Then in 2003, Iran's leaders watched the US and Brits invade and take Baghdad in about 6 weeks. Nah, that didn't impress them. Not in the least. -------------------------------------- Do they only chant Death to America in Tehran because Bush is President? Nah, they've been doing it since Jimmy Carter was in office. A little chanting never hurt anyone........you know that old adage: sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me. You need to grow a thicker skin. Do you think they don't mean it? Who the fukk cares? When you were a kid, did you care what your friend's little brother thought of you? I didn't. Get over it.......grow a thicker skin. Yeah, talk never leads to action. No reason at all to be concerned that "Death to America" chants by people developing nukes.
