In 1986 the Amazon forest would disappear in 20 years. The bloody jungle is still there!! Man I heard os many crap. They say it’s being cut at a rate of a Belgium (or sometimes a Kansas State) per year. Everytime I fly above it, the damn thing is still there. Deforestation in the Amazon rainforest fell by 20% between August 2006 and July 2007, according to interim figures released by the Brazilian government. news.bbc.co.uk But Green peace –with an eye ofn the donations of the idiots that support it- is saying. No is still being cut. Ok, in 2027 I will come back again to tell how the forest is doing.
