Yep. But, hey!!! Its December, and I don't even think I used one of my November allotment:

"Let us accept things as they are, and profit off of the folly of the world."

We have utter lunacy going on. If we had 10 Trillion $ to spend on the betterment of the world - how should it be spent? .

I agree. While i am very sympathetic to proponents of "let's do something about global warning", there are big questions about what the right approach may be. Environmentalism tends neglect the fact that resources (which includes money) are limited and we need to be smart on where to start.

For example does it make sense that we lower the sulfur content of Diesel to the ppm range while ships are still burning bunker fuel with sulfur contents in the with sulfur up to 5%. Even worse the consumption of bunker fues is rapidly rising due to the global economy.

My biggest gripe about the Al Gore movie was the fact that he totally ignored one of the obvious solutions to the CO2 problem, namely Nuclear power, knowing well that this is a sacred cow with environmentalist.
