Yes we are Mephisto,

We went down town today and attended a Broadway touring production of Evita.. It was just GREAT.. We walked around before the show, watched the children skating on a public rink next to the river, Hell, we watched everyone skate. We had a coffee, actually fancy mochas from a neighborhood place.. I had a Milky Way, Mary had a Snickers.....

Everyone was having so much fun, laughing and falling in no particular order at the rink.... I never really learned to skate.. We just didn't skate much in our family.... Oh, I could get around okay, but I was never smooth or graceful. So traded skating for skiing. It suited my personality more..:)

But anyway, we went to see "Evita", the stage play.... Very good if one understands her history. The movie and the play somewhat distorts her intentions.. Not somewhat, but really does... I knew of her because my dad always admired her and the Peronists.. For my dad was a populist as I am too. Besides that he loved beautiful minds, especially in a beautiful woman. Like I do. :)... As he grew up poor and seen how the "elitists" try and do exploit the poor, like the "descamisados (the shirtless ones)" as they were called in Argentina at that time. And like Evita, my Dad made it, but he NEVER forgot his roots..

And I so am like my father, I am proud to say because I understand that.. :( ...:)

Take care,

m
