Why don't you cite your purported stats...and where pray-tell is the year 1969? Somehow you jump from 1968 (Johnson) to 1970, completely skipping over 1969. Apparently, you can't count. Nixon was president and - ironically, 1969 is the year THE MOST TROOPS were on the ground in Vietnam, and that being true, then your 550,000 troops under Johnson is, of course, pure bs:
