Is Pelosi and the Democratic congress out of control? Pelosi has spent more money for non essentials in the last 90 days than her Republican predicessor in 9 months. Why are the Dem's continuing to spend so much money on items that are not essential to run the country? Why are they such big spenders. A tax on cigarettes is nuts! Especially when the U.S. subsidizes both tobacco growers and supports cancer research. Now I am not a smoker, however, if we have a declining base of smokers and slap another tax on that base to support Schip rogram. What this country needs is an Enema. clean out all these programs and start over
