There are times when extraordinary means are required in order to save numerous lives. Democrat Pres Harry Truman realized that truth when he used the A-bomb in order to prevent additional American casualties, and forced the enemy to surrender. Japanese leaders had callously allowed their fighters to continue to perish for a lost cause. Does anyone really believe the Islamic lunatic terrorists would treat US prisoners humanely if the US swore to never use aggressive interrogation for select captives?...answer: only fools.
