It appears it will be a perfect country after everyone but Helen and a few tree planters leave. What did surprise me is when she nattered about the purchasing power of the NZ government and how she intended to use that to "drive innovation". I'm sure her urban audience sits breathless waiting for her to say sustainability, carbon footprint, four pillars, nuclear free, conservation strategy, renewable energy, biofuels and gets a little thrill every time she does. It's slightly better in Canada but stupid is what people seem to aspire to.
