nonrev, show me one hundred greedy for lucre and unhesitatingly brave combatants each with a convincing map and steadfast way in the last man standing death match game, and i will show you ninty nine limp bodies piled up high like so many logs :0)

given the nature of the game, where we do not make the ever changing rules, never mind understanding them, and are not allowed to win, only to die, sooner or later, by one sharp wound or so many small nicks, and are not allowed to quit, not even to rest

my fretting concerns and unmanly worries are perhaps justified

especially when we know, besides the nature of the unfair setup by the powers that be, there is the character of the market, always out to nail us in the worst possible way at the most inconvenient time, mostly from the backside where we are typically not watching

on top of the unfair setup and the nasty market, there are the noise makers and smoke blowers, and then the crowds

fun or what ;0)

announcer: players, death match combat on three, two, ... worldmarket.blogspot.com (added 578 basis points of paper gold, as opposed to just holding 9% physical at time of blog)

as the share rally proceeds, i figure to add skf negative bet against the financial system ... slowly slowly

QUOTE

CHINA: Chinese state-owned firms will begin paying dividends in 2008, the South China Morning Post reported, citing the Finance Ministry. Companies in resource industries such as oil, coal, petrochemicals, power, tobacco and telecommunications, will pay a 10 percent dividend, while those in competitive industries such as construction, transport, steel, electronics and export-import will pay 5 percent. Military and research firms will not pay dividends initially, but their exemption reportedly will be reviewed in 2011.

... talk about investor friendly !

imagine what a regulation like this could do for nyse; instead the powers debate whether 'windfall' profit should be skimmed as tithe so that they could finance perpetual wars against innocent women and very young children.
