C'mon Ten. If you weren't such a scrooge, you could help some unfortunate people tremendously at this time of the winter solstice just with the difference between a ski trip to Utah VS your foo-foo ski trip to Europe. It's not like you'd SUFFER!

Of course it is. Seizure of power always occurs under the context of benevolence.

Just look at Hugo Chavez and how he tried to push reforms that would make him president for life. "It's all about helping people," he tells the voters.


Seizing power is the right's ball game, not liberals.......see Putin.

So there's NO scenario where you see a politician trying to get elected because he/she actually wants to help people?
