The middle Plains states are sending cold winds to bring an end to Indian Summer here. By Thursday, the mercury is expected to climb only into the 60s, and next Sunday should be in the 50s, Leary said.

"We're going to have this probably through Wednesday," Leary said of the warm weather. "It's going to be cut off soon."

So what they are breaking record low's in other parts of the country. Warm weather in December isn't that unusual hear in Georgia. Doesn't prove a thing.
