I have advocated that there be a safety net as far as homelessness, abject poverty, and wealthy nation lowest level health care are concerned. I also advocate that there be a level playing field for every citizen with regard to education and the chance to compete for economic advancement.

I heartily agree with that.

That doesn't, however, require advocating the federal government pay for crowns for poor people.

I think we're close to having what you describe now. Well, maybe not homelessness. That needs some work.
