He will not, he wants as high inflation as is possible without causing the public to panic and flee the banking system. Lucky for him, much of the public is ignorant and doesn't mind being raped or at least do not know the true reasons they are. For B. Helicopter and the pigmen cartel, deflation is worse than death. But it is always amazing that he can get away with claiming that inflation is 1.9% at times of 10%+ retail and 15%+ monetary inflation. What happens when inflation goes into the 20's ? Will he just simply add +1 and claim inflation is 2.9% ?
