Bob, you might want to check with Energy Conversion Devices/United Solar, out of Troy, Michigan. Although I've been out of the business for some time, nearly a decade ago they had developed PV roofing tiles that largely addressed the aesthetics issue. Can't speak for efficiency levels or prices. Terrence Parker used to be the staffer handling it for them. BP and GE also were working on integrated roof solutions. FWIW.

<< Alas, all those advertisement of "contact us we want to talk to your architect blah blah blah" proved to be just bull shit. >>

Yes there is a lot of BS out there. Chevron runs adds about Geothermal Energy enough to power 7 million homes. In Indonesia maybe? One light bulb and one small TV perhaps in many homes.

Show me a working Geothermal Energy Plant in the US. Calpine played around with it, but ended up in bankruptcy -- with all that 'free' energy it just didn't make sense.

Three years ago I saw a defunct Geothermal Energy Plant in Tibet.

I think that Geothermal Energy Power Plants is a lot of BS, but I am willing to listen to contrary views. Show me the facts...carlmehr
