That cost him his stay in jail. What SHOULD cost him his chance of ever playing in the NFL again is lying to the commissioner. This could have been fixed to a degree but he did himself. I'm almost glad its gotten this ugly because its going to send a message to kids coming up in the system. Dirtbag is a universal thing - athletic talent should not get you out of trouble. The only thing our coaches overlooked was the fact that most of us chewed Copenhagen and that was against WIAA rules. They knew we were out having beers too but we never got caught.
