Considering their are tens of millions of Canadians, and hundreds of millions of Americans, a few anecdotes with little detail or context isn't very meaningful.

You were the one that posted the lecture on anecdotes and then you posted one that suited you...what is with that??

As for the point of the anecdote, Lane3 pointed it out well.

"Seems to me the value of the anecdote is the acknowledgment that people who can will find ways to jump the system."
