The financial/government complex is going to do everything they can possibly come up with to prop up the entire rickety, should have collapsed already, financial contraption through the next year for the coming election. They may get help from the people we've been trading markers to, since those guys have a stake in those markers not becoming worthless, and they've got too many to lay them all off sensibly. Then, Jan. 20th 2009, the new person and their new team will (hopefully, presuming it hasn't collapsed by then) be handed the entire house of cards. That's the "plan". I'm just gonna hunker in GLD with a trailing stop. I think a lot of those foreigners with markers will trade them for GLD.
