It really is the great unknown.....whether voting for a black candidate or a female candidate (or if Condi ran, a black female candiate) is something people say they would do in polling but when they get into the booth.....

Maybe next year we get some kind of test

Yeah, that describes a lot of the mostly blue collar northern union workers. The mostly non union southern workers are also raciest, but I think because we were so far backwards back before the 60's on both race and technology, that we have more than overcome both.
