Judging by the action recently, it could be that there's some kind of deal where the oil states will help put their fingers in the US equity dike for now provided Ben doesn't drop rates too low and accelerate the dollar decline -- IMO there has to be some kind of tacit agreement in the background, otherwise I think the sheiks would be standing aside instead of ponying up cash for questionable assets this early in the game I'll call Dick Cheney after supper and see what he says, and then get back to you
