At first they reported the shooter had a gun and the woman who stopped him had a WEAPON. You can NEVER say anything good about a gun.

did you see how CNN is reporting the death of the Colorado church shooter? They reported that the shooter died due to a self-inflicted wound. Never mind the fact that the shooter was shot and brought down first by a security guard. Yes - a bona fide confirmation of the usefulness of concealed carry is a "bad" thing. You cannot prevent lawless people/acts, but you can be prepared to stop them - in fact it's a right both on paper and a natural law. In this case she probably prevented 100+ deaths or injuries. My worst fear regarding CCL/W holders is they shoot and hit a bystander - then the media will be all over that story. The "security guard" thing is also intesting since she's a volunteer guard (no pay) as well as several others armed and unarmed - no uniforms or badges either. So in reality - she's an armed law abiding member of the congregation who performs a free service to the church as do many members as suits their interests/skills aka citizen.
