Edwards could unite this country like nobody else. Polls show that he is liked by one third of Republicans, most of them southerners. That's what we need, a uniter not a divider, and someone to take care of average people and solve real problems. Edwards would do it. He is also as ethical as an Eagle Scout without being at all self-righteous. Just the guy we need.
