I didnt say they were evil. I just said the whole shtick is a violation of womens rights whether they are aware of it or not. Same for hasidic women in jewish religion and some of the attitudes there. And hurst mentioned mormons--men in black suits and women in white blouses and pink lipstick who in the old days would be in a super extended family.

i think what it is is that i am offended by primitivism that takes the possiblities away from 50% of the human population. Most burka babes arent stoned or raped but in many countries they are denied education or certainly equal education to men. Slavery once existed here in the US. Is your argument that some on the plantation were treated well so therefore were happy or were those folks brainwashed like some burka babes?
