I remember days long ago, way up in the mountains far from the nearest person, walking on snow deeper than I was tall. Sun lit the snow, and it reflected back like a field of diamonds. I felt as though I was the richest man on earth.

LOL... I don't know if I've wondered why it (the sun) heats me, but am just greatful. I have thought quite a bit about "Let there be Light" - the voice/thought/inflection/everything before the sun appeared :)

If you aren't fired with enthusiasm, you will be fired with enthusiasm. ~Vince Lombardi

Surely good advice. Thanks.

Love the winter pictures, but enjoy looking at them in pictures rather than living where they are. That's a lot of snow to deal with.

I liked the part about bringing my own sunshine (which I strive to do, despite opinions to the contrary), but this one was very cool:

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~Herm Albright, quoted in Reader's Digest, June 1995

Good one! In fact, I just included it on my profile!
