BS. Edwards definitely cares about the average American. He is a true populist. He grew up in a mill worker family, a mill which got closed down and sent overseas. That affected him deeply. He spent his career in law defending average people against big corporations. And boy can those big corps screw the little guy sometimes. So people need defenders. He also deeply cares about affordable universal health care (his wife has cancer for Christ's sake), education, poverty, uniting the countrym ending the Iraq disaster and getting the corruption out of DC. Of course he's ambitious, they all are. Every single candidate deeply cares about propelling himself to the White House. Bar none. If they didn't care about that they wouldn't be politicians in the first place. Edwards is no more so than any of the others, in fact he actually has causes he cares about. What cause does Romney care about besides himself? He will literally flip-flop on any issue if it gets him votes. Many cal him an empty suit trying to become the next elite blue blood (and now Mormon) Bush dynasty. It's important to stop him.
