I have this mental image of a cop in a MICRO MIDGET car complete with all the lights racing down the highway. Kind of cute.

All it would take to end the nonsense would be for the car companies to simply inform Californians that these "mandates" are completely unrealistic and that they will no longer offer new vehicles for sale in that State. Period.

The political and economic fallout would be fascinating to watch. I think that Atlas needs to shrug, once or twice, to wake up the general populace..

Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau in "The Pink Panther" No lights however.
